Temecula Valley High School CTE Regenerative Agriculture Partnership
Project type
Hillside Erosion Control and Stabilization
Date
January 2026
Location
Temecula, CA
This project is part of an ongoing Temecula Valley High School CTE Regenerative Agriculture partnership, centered on stabilizing an actively eroding hillside using regenerative land management techniques.
Working directly in the field, students participate in the installation of erosion control measures including living soil systems, biochar-amended soil, burlap containment, and slope-stabilization methods designed to slow water movement, retain soil, and support long-term site recovery.
The project provides hands-on experience with real-world erosion control challenges while demonstrating how regenerative agriculture principles can be applied to stabilize slopes, protect soil, and improve degraded land conditions.
